Day 1: Sydney
Arrive in Sydney and check into the Travelodge Hotel Sydney. Collect your Sydney Scene pack from the hotel's reception and familiarise yourself with the city's attractions. From experience, Contiki knows that everyone has very different ideas as to how they will enjoy the city, so we don't provide a tour manager or itinerary but rather the information and the means for you to make the very best of your time. Both bus and ferry tickets are included in your documents from home, so maybe today join a Sydney or Bondi Explorer Bus, which run at frequent intervals. They cover a comprehensive circuit of Sydney's city, bays and beaches, and include commentary. You are free to get on and off as you please. Hotel

Day 2: Sydney
This morning enjoy a Sydney Harbour Cruise. The cruise departs from Circular Quay and will stop at many famous harbour attractions. Check out The Rocks District, the site of Australia's first settlement. Then onto the Sydney Opera House with the chance of an optional guided tour. Perhaps lunch at Watson's Bay in the famous harbourside seafood restaurant - Doyle's. The cruise continues to Taronga Zoo where you can take an optional tour to see koalas, kangaroos and other exotic animals. Hotel

Day 3: Sydney
Today finish off all that sightseeing! Why not take a monorail to the city for shopping or relax at famous Manly or Bondi Beaches. You could take a day trip to the Blue Mountains or to the Hunter Valley to see Australia's vineyards. Maybe take part in a Harbour BridgeClimb, a Harbour Jet Boat or explore Darling Harbour with its Powerhouse Museum. Tonight enjoy your last night in the city. Hotel

Day 4: Sydney
Your Sydney Scene concludes this morning but why not head out for some last minute power shopping?
