Day 1: Hello Big Apple!
This morning meet your Contiki tour manager and enjoy a sightseeing tour of Manhattan including fashionable Fifth Avenue, Central Park, Harlem's Apollo Theatre, Greenwich Village, the World Trade Centre Site and much more. We'll visit Liberty Island to see the Statue of Liberty as well today. To complete your day, you'll have an opportunity to take an optional helicopter flight around the island of Manhattan for spectacular view of the New York City Skyline. After dinner, we'll take in the lights of world famous Times Square, before experiencing New York's nightlife. Hotel (D)

Day 2: New Year's Eve in New York
This morning we'll stroll through Central Park then the afternoon is yours to shop on trendy Fifth Ave, explore one of New York's vibrant neighbourhoods or you have the opportunity to see "NY TV and Movie Sites" on a guided tour. Tonight's the big night so bundle up and we'll ring in the New Year in Times Square! Hotel (B)

Day 3: New York
Happy New Year! Today is yours to do as much, or as little, as you'd like in New York. Perhaps you'll want to go ice skating in the Rockefeller Center or shop the trendy stores along Fifth Avenue. Tonight you are free to take in a Broadway show at your leisure. Hotel (B)

Day 4: More New York Sightseeing.
This morning you have the opportunity to see New York "Sex and the City" Style with an optional sightseeing tour. Tonight, we'll get together for a great dinner at one of New York's restaurants. Later we will experience the view of a lifetime, as we take an elevator up 102 stories to the observation tower of the Empire State Building to see the incredible skyline of New York at night. Day 5: New York
Say a final farewell to your newfound friends as your tour ends this morning. (B)
