1. Tag: Kota Kinabalu

Arrive at any time. There are no activities planned until an evening welcome meeting.

2. Tag: Kota Kinabalu - Pulau Tiga

After breakfast drive to Kuala Pinyu, then take a boat ride to the tropical island of Pulau Tiga. Opt to go on a jungle walk, snorkelling trip to snake island, or laze on the sandy beach.

3. Tag: Pulau Tiga - Beaufort

Enjoy a relaxing morning. Go snorkelling off the beach or join your CEO for a walk to the natural volcanic mud baths. Travel back to the mainland and spot an array of wildlife from a river cruise on the Klias River. Transfer to the colonial town of Beaufort.

After refreshments board your river cruise spotting wildlife such as the rare Proboscis Monkey, Long Tail Macaque, Silver Fern macaque, hornbills other birds and reptiles that make their home on the banks of the river. Return to the riverboat base for an included dinner before heading out again for an evening cruise with magical fireflies lighting up the banks.

4. Tag: Beaufort

Catch the local train to Tenom and explore the scenic town. Visit the Murut Cultural Centre before returning to Beaufort by road. If you prefer, jump off the train early and opt out of the visit to Tenom to instead get your adrenaline pumping on a rafting tour.

Optional Activities:
White Water Rafting Padas River
Embark on a full day rafting tour. After traveling to Pangi, twist and turn down 10km of rapids, including "Head Hunter", "Washing Machine" and "Snake House". Lunch and transport to and from Beaufort is included.

Murut Cultural Centre
Enjoy exploring this large centre that includes a museum showcasing authentic Murut architecture and artifacts. The indigenous Murut tribe are one of Sabah's largest native groups.

5. Tag: Beaufort - Mulu Nationalpark

Depart to Menumbok port and take a private speedboat to Labuan. Fly to Miri and make your way to Mulu National Park. Opt for a night walk on the boardwalks surrounding park headquarters.

Venture out into the lush Sarawak rainforestwith a guide and flashlight to check out the wild jungle inhabitants at night, when they really come alive. Keep your eyes peeled and watch your step!

6. Tag: Mulu Nationalpark

Depart on an easy walk along the river to Wind Cave and Clearwater Cave. After a lunch stop, swim in the crystal clear waters emerging from the mountain. Opt to stop at Iban village's morning market to browse handicrafts by the Pena tribe, descendants from headhunters. Walk on the boardwalk to Lang Cave and Deer Cave before relaxing with a drink at the viewing area for the nightly emergence of 3 million bats.

Deer and Lang Caves Exploration
Walk along a series of planks through the rainforest to reach Deer and Lang caves. Explore these impressive caverns (Deer cave is never less than 90 metres high or wide!), home to more than two million bats.

Wind and Clearwater Caves Exploration
Visit Wind Cave, named for the breezes that blow through it, and the vast Clearwater Cave, home to a subterranean river. After checking out the caves, enjoy a refreshing swim and a picnic amongst the beautiful scenery of the rainforest.

7. Tag: Mulu Nationalpark - Kota Kinabalu

Before breakfast, opt to go on a two hour morning mist guided walk on the worlds longest tree based canopy walk. Enjoy free time to before boarding a flight to Kota Kinabalu.

8. Tag: Kota Kinabalu - Kota Belud

Travel to Tambatuon village and meet the local community. Visit a local farm and gather fresh ingredients for an included cooking class. After lunch, trek to a nearby river, exploring the landscape surrounding the village along the way. This evening enjoy a traditional dinner with your hosts.

Learn more about the typical lifestyle in the village by taking part in seasonal activities such as rubber tapping, fruit harvesting, and rice planting.

9. Tag: Kota Belud - Sungai Kinabatangan

Travel towards Sandakan and continue to the jungle lodge on the Kinabatangan River, Sabah's longest. After settling in head out for a river safari. After dinner, opt for a guided night walk through the jungle.

Optional Activities:
Jungle Night Walk
70MYR per person. Take a night walk on the trails near the Jungle Lodge and look for the unique creatures that are active at night.

Kinabatangan River Evening Cruise
Cruise through the crocodile-infested waters with an expert boatman. While wildlife-spotting can't be guaranteed there's a good chance you will spot some monkeys, birds and the occasional saltwater crocodiles.

10. Tag: Sungai Kinabatangan

Begin the day with a river safari in search of wildlife. After breakfast, visit the nearby oxbow lake with a professional guide and seek out proboscis monkeys, pygmy elephants, macaques, and gibbons. Enjoy another boat cruise along the river to spot more wildlife before returning to the lodge for dinner.

Jump into a boat and explore the muddy river; keep your eyes peeled for monkeys, birds, and crocodiles.

Guided Oxbow Lake Walk and Wildlife Spotting
Enjoy a guided trek along the lake and seek out proboscis monkeys, pygmy elephants, macaques, and gibbons.

11. Tag: Sungai Kinabatangan - Sepilok

Depart in the morning and travel to Sepilok. Enjoy a visit to the orangutan rehabilitation centre and the adjacent sun bear conservation centre.

Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre Visit
The orangutans at the centre were either rescued as orphans or from illegal domestication. Once rehabilitated, they are set free to live in the wild. Watch these creatures being fed or roaming the grounds along with other animals such as macaque monkeys.

Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre Visit
Visit the conservation centre and see the world’s smallest bear. Learn more about the sun bears and the conservation efforts being made to protect them.

12. Tag: Sepilok - Pulau Libaran

Transfer to Sandakan and continue to Libaran Island by boat. Take a guided tour of the island's turtle hatchery and learn about the turtle conservation program. Opt to go snorkelling or kayaking with some free time.

Accompany Island rangers to learn more about these amazing creatures and the threats to their existence. Depending on the time of year, observe turtles laying their eggs on the beach, follow the park rangers as they transfer the eggs to the hatchery, or stand on the shore and witness the release of baby turtles to the open sea.

13. Tag: Pulau Libaran - Kota Kinabalu

After breakfast, depart Libaran Island and travel back to the Sandakan jetty. From the jetty, transfer to Sandakan airport for a flight to Kota Kinabalu.
