Die Unterbringung erfolgt in Doppelzimmern (ggf. Mehrbettzimmer). Alleinreisende werden, sofern möglich, mit Mitreisenden gleichen Geschlechts untergebracht. Nachtzug: Sie übernachten in 2-Bett-Kabinen ausgestattet. Ein Waschbecken in der Kabine ist vorhanden. Eine Gemeinschaftstoilette ist vorhanden.

Feluke: Eine Feluke ist ein einfaches traditionelles Segelboot. Geschlafen wird an Deck unter den Sternen. Eine Matratze und eine Decke werden Ihnen zur Verfügung gestellt, einen dünnen Schlafsack sollten Sie aber dennoch mitbringen. Das Beiboot fährt direkt neben der Feluke mit und ist mit zwei Toiletten und zwei Duschen ausgestattet. Die Mahlzeiten werden auf dem Beiboot serviert.

Camping: Das Camp in Wadi Rum ist einfach ausgestattet. Sie übernachten auf Betten in einem großen Beduinenzelt. Bettlaken und Decken werden zur Verfügung gestellt, für zusätzlichen Komfort empfiehlt sich ein Innenschlafsack mitzubringen. Ein Gemeinschaftsbad ist vorhanden. Die Mitnahme einer Taschenlampe ist empfehlenswert.

treasures from the tomb of Tutankhamun, this massive museum is a
fantastic place to learn about the country. Your tour leader will direct
you to the most important and magnificent items. There is also plenty
of free time for you to explore on your own.

Enjoy a comfortable twin-share compartment with bunk beds and lockable doors.
The beds convert into seats when not in use and luggage is stored under
the bottom bunk. Bedding is provided and there is a small wash basin
with soap and a towel as well. Shared toilet facilities are at the end
of each carriage. A simple “airline style” dinner is included.
Non-alcoholic drinks are available to purchase and there is a bar car
for socializing.

Explore Aswan before visiting a Nubian village and enjoying a home-cooked dinner with a local family.

Enjoy some free time in the morning to browse the souk or walk along the Nile.

Later, board a felucca (boat) to reach Elephantine Island and visit a Nubian
village. Walk around the small community then enjoy a delicious
traditional dinner in a local home.

Cross to the West Bank and travel by donkey. Visit the massive 18m (59ft)-high Colossi of Memnon, which is all that remains of an ancient temple. Descend down the narrow corridors and check out the tombs of the pharaohs at the Valley of the Kings. The Funerary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut literally seems to rise out of the surrounding limestone outcrops.

Enjoy free time to explore Luxor; Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple are both well worth a visit. Learn about the ancient art of embalming at world's only Mummification Museum and the small, but beautifully presented, Luxor Museum.

Hop on a ferry from Nuweiba to Aqaba, Jordan.

Spend the morning at the beach before boarding the ferry to Jordan.

The Egyptian CEO will assist with departure proceedings and help get you on
board. The 1.5 hr ferry ride will be unescorted and your Jordanian CEO
will be waiting in the arrivals hall to assist with entrance to Jordan.

The ferry is quite comfortable, and has air conditioning and airline-style
seats. The journey itself should take only 1.5 hrs, but the ferry is
often delayed and wait times can be up to 3-4 hrs.

There is only one ferry daily from Nuweiba to Aqaba. This ferry has no set
schedule and is extremely erratic, as it waits in Jordan until it is
full and then makes the crossing to Egypt to collect us and return to
Jordan. While experience has shown us the time it usually departs, it is
not unheard of for the ferry to be delayed for up to 3-4 hours. Your
CEO will collect 50 Egyptian Pounds from each person for the departure
tax at the ferry terminal.

Aqaba/Wadi Rum (Breakfast | Dinner)
Head out for a 4x4 excursion during the day before a traditional dinner and overnight stay at a Bedouin desert camp in Wadi Rum.

Spend the morning in Aqaba before setting off for Wadi Rum, a vast, silent
landscape of ancient riverbeds and the largest and most magnificent of
Jordan's desert landscapes. Head deep into the desert by 4x4, stopping
at famous landmarks along the way.

Arrive at the tented camp in time for a traditional meal. Learn more about this ancient culture.

A local guide will take us for a 2 hr night hike in the desert to see the
stars and look for desert wildlife. Spend the evening sitting around
the fire under the stars, listening to stories from our Bedouin hosts.

Wadi Rum 4x4 Excursion

Journey into the stunning, colourful desert on this 4x4 excursion. Make stops
along the way to get out and explore, learn about the region or scramble
up rocks or sand dunes. Reach the Bedouin camp for nightfall to learn
about a new culture and eat traditional food beneath the starry skies.

Camp overnight in the desert, enjoying a traditional meal and learning more
about the ancient Bedouin culture. Spend the evening sitting under the
stars, around a fire, listening to stories from the Bedouin hosts. If
really lucky, they may bring the drums out for some music!

Wadi Musa (Breakfast)
Start out early for a guided visit to Petra. It's easy to spend hours wandering through this massive 'Rose City'.

Wall through the narrow canyon that forms the dramatic entrance to the city
(the Siq), around the final corner, and lay eyes on the dramatic façade
of the Treasury building. Learn a brief history of the city and walk
approximately 25km (15.5 mi) to cover the entire site. Return to Wadi
Musa in the late afternoon, or continue exploring on your own.

Petra Guided Tour
Petra - Full Day

Journey to Petra to explore this UNESCO World Heritage site. Each tour will be
different depending on the interests of the group, but everyone arrives
through the dramatic Siq, rounding a corner and setting eyes on the
famous treasury building.

With time, hike approx 25km (15 mi) to cover the entire site. Climb (steps) to two sacred hilltops. Depending on the weather and the interests of the group, opt to hike an additional 2km (1.2 mi) to see the magnificent views from the top of the treasury. This makes for a unique and unforgettable experience.

Get a brief history of the city, one of the greatest tourist attractions in the Middle East. The Nabateans carved this capital from the living rock of the surrounding mountains in Petra. Visit monuments that include the Pharaoh's Castle, the triumphal arch, the amphitheatre, and the monastery.

Visit Shobak and Karak castles, Mt Nebo, and take a guided tour of the Madaba mosaics.

Depart early for the first stop, Shobak Castle. Continue on to explore Karak Castle, built during the Crusades.

Later, visit Mt Nebo. Learn the ancient history of this spot and check out the incredible views.

Continue on to Madaba to see the famous Byzantine mosaics, dating back to the 6th century.
