Wanderung zum Ijen Vulkan
Im Herzen des Vulkankomplexes Ijen liegt Kawah Ijen, der Ort des majestätischen blauen Feuers. Tagsüber tief türkis, wird der See am Krater bei Nacht von elektrischen blauen Flammen erhellt - verursacht durch sich entzündende Schwefelsäure. Um dieses spektakuläre Schauspiel zu erleben musst du 1,5 Stunden lang bergauf wandern und kannst dabei den sternenklaren Nachthimmel und die vulkanische Landschaft rundum bewundern. Steige mit Hilfe eines Guides zum Krater hinunter und ziehe eine Gasmaske an, damit du dieses Naturphänomen bestaunen kannst. Steige rechtzeitig zum Sonnenaufgang wieder zum Kraterrand auf - ein unvergessliches und wunderschönes Erlebnis als Abschluss der Exkursion.

Arrive at any time. The adventure begins tonight. Feel free to explore before your welcome meeting, but make sure you’re back in time to meet the group.

The city has so many options for sightseeing, those who arrive early will have plenty to fill the day. The best way to get around Bangkok is by water taxi, as the streets are often crowded with traffic. From the Chao Phraya River, enjoy an excellent view of the vast metropolis.

Consider taking a longtail boat to explore the canals of Bangkok—the life that goes on along these canals seems like a different world. Visit Wat Pho, home of the reclining Buddha and consider getting a traditional Thai massage here at the school in the temple. If not at Wat Pho, be sure to get a massage at one of the many spas near the hotel.

Khoo Kongsi Visit

Clan Jetties Excursion
Experience real-life history visiting the clan jetties. More than 100 years ago, the Chinese community started building stilt houses along the waterfront, clustered into clan villages that still exist today. Most of these houses are in the Chew Jetty area.

Kek Lok Si Temple Visit
This three-tiered hilltop Buddhist temple, the country’s largest, is affectionately known as the Temple of Supreme Bliss. Its main attraction is the Ten Thousand Buddhas Pagoda, and the pavilion of the Four Heavenly Kings – each said to control a compass point. An enormous statue of the Goddess of Mercy is found on the hilltop as well as more gardens and temples.

Today's for reaching new heights. Start the day with a trek along the Ancestor Trail to Mt Bromo, led by a local guide trained through the supported capacity building program. Then get a chance to hike to the volcano's crater (and take some pictures!) before going on to the hotel. Walk to the famed crater of Mount Bromo, part of the Tengger Calder, the largest volcanic range in the area. A distinct site, the volcano blew its top off completely and is constantly smouldering with white smoke.

Skip sleeping in today for a pre-dawn hike across the Sea of Sand to Mt Bromo, where you can catch a final glimpse of the moon before the sunrise. Stop to breathe it all in before you head to a beachside surf camp. Head out before dawn to visit the viewpoint for magnificent Mt Bromo (2,392m), one of the most spectacular sights in Indonesia. Walk along the "sea of sand" and enjoy stunning views as the sun rises over the edge of the crater and be amazed by the volcano’s strange beauty, seemingly from another world. On your way to Mt Bromo, catch a breath and see the local Buddhist Tenggerese giving offerings to the Supreme God Hyang Widi Wasa.
